 About The Author

Patrick Griswold is the author of Letters to the Living, his debut poetry collection, and A Clown for Orphans & Other Short Stories, a work of fiction tracing the quiet ways grace enters ordinary lives. His latest novel, A Walk with Grace, is currently in progress.

A West Coast native, Patrick often sets his evocative tales against the landscapes of California and the Pacific Northwest, exploring the human struggle for meaning, the depths of grief, and the hope of redemption through faith in Jesus Christ. Yet his stories also reach far beyond these familiar shores—shaped by journeys across continents and cultures, carrying the voices and textures of places encountered along the way.

Drawing from his years as a therapist and his personal victory over drug and alcohol addiction, Patrick writes with honesty and compassion, offering stories that linger in both heart and spirit.

A passionate follower of Jesus and an avid Grateful Dead fan, he is also a guitarist and a global traveler still searching for the ultimate cup of coffee. Patrick brings a unique blend of humor, perspective, and authenticity to both his life and his work.
